Dolf is a disc golf scorekeeping app, currently operated by Marco Aurelio Benites. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it. It is deliberately short, because we collect very little.
When you create an account we store your name, email address, and — if you choose to provide them — your phone number, PDGA number, and bag tag number. Your phone number is kept private and is not shown to other players. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address from that provider so we can create your account. We never receive your password.
When you play, we store the rounds you take part in: the course, the date, your scores, bag tag results, events and check-ins, and any optional shot detail you choose to record, such as fairways hit, putts, and penalty strokes.
Our servers also receive basic technical information automatically, such as your IP address, device or browser type, and app version, which we use to run and secure the service. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
Dolf does not currently collect your device's GPS location. We may add optional location features in the future — for example, to help you find nearby courses — and if we do, we will ask your permission first and update this policy.
Your information is used to run the app: to show live leaderboards to the players on your card, to track bag tag standings and token payouts within your group, to run groups, events and leagues, and to show you your own statistics over time. That is all.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it to build advertising profiles, and Dolf shows no ads.
Dolf is a social app. Players on the same card, or in the same group, event, or league, can see your name, scores, standings, and bag tag results for that play — that is the point of a shared scorecard. Your email address and phone number are not shown to other players.
We share information only with the service providers that help us run Dolf, under agreements that limit their use of it: Supabase (database and authentication), Apple and Google (sign-in, if you use them), Netlify (hosting the web app), and Expo / EAS (building and delivering the mobile apps). We may also disclose information if required by law, or as part of a business transfer, in which case we will notify you.
Data is stored with Supabase, our database and authentication provider, on servers that may be located in the United States, and is protected by row-level security rules so accounts can only read the data they are entitled to.
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time by emailing the address below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights:
You can ask us to delete your account and its associated data at any time by emailing the address below. We will remove it, though scores already recorded on a shared card may remain visible to that card as an anonymised entry so other players' rounds stay intact.
Dolf is intended for users 13 and older and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information. If you are under 18, use Dolf only with a parent or guardian's involvement.
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, give notice in the app.
