Delete your Dolf account
Last updated: October 7, 2026
You can delete your Dolf account and its data at any time, either in the app or by emailing
us. This page explains both ways, and exactly what is deleted and what is kept.
In the app
- Open Dolf and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Tap the You tab, then Settings.
- Scroll to Advanced and tap Show.
- Tap Delete account…. Dolf shows you what will be deleted and what will
stay before anything happens.
- Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete account.
If you own a club that other players use, or you organise an event or repeating event that
other players have joined, Dolf will ask you to hand it over or close it first. Nothing is
deleted until you do.
By email
If you can't use the app, email support@getdolf.com
from the email address on your Dolf account, with the subject
“Delete my Dolf account”. If you signed in with Apple or Google, use the email
address of that Apple or Google account. We may reply to confirm the request comes from you
before we delete anything.
What is removed
- Your account and sign-in, including any link to your Apple or Google account.
- Your profile: name, email address, phone number, PDGA number, and profile details.
- Everything you wrote in chat is anonymised: the text and any photo are cleared and the link
to you is removed, so the threads you took part in stay intact for everyone else.
- Your reactions, your poll votes, your profile photo, and every photo you sent in a chat.
Photos are removed from storage within minutes.
- Rounds that only you played, with their scores and shot detail.
- Your bag tags (they go back to the group's pool), event entries and check-ins, and your
club memberships.
- Your saved players list, preferences, and any club you made that nobody else uses.
What stays, no longer linked to you
- Your scores on cards you shared with other players. A round you played with other people is
part of their history too, so your scores stay to keep their results and bag tag standings
correct, but your name is replaced with “Former player”.
- Polls and group chats you started.
- Reports you filed.
- Pictures you added to a group or course page.
This matches the “Deleting your data” section of our
Privacy Policy.
Other players who saved you in their own list of players may still have that entry, because
it is part of their data, not yours.
How long it takes
Deleting in the app happens immediately and can't be undone. Email requests are completed
within 30 days, and we will reply once your account has been deleted.
